- Authentication: We use essential session tokens stored in secure, HTTP-only cookies that are strictly necessary for the Platform to function.
- No third-party advertising: We do not use any advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or tracking scripts from advertising networks.

These cookies are essential for the operation of the Platform. Without them, the Platform cannot function properly. They do not require your consent under applicable law.

For clarity, the Konfigear platform does not use:

- Third-party tracking pixels (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads, etc.)
- Cross-site tracking cookies
- Analytics cookies (our analytics solution is entirely cookie-free)
- Fingerprinting or canvas-based tracking

In accordance with the ePrivacy Directive and LSSI-CE:

7. Cookies in Tenant Customizer Instances
When End-Customers access a Tenant's Customizer (whether on a Konfigear subdomain or a Tenant's custom domain), the following applies:
- The Customizer uses session storage (not cookies) to preserve the user's configuration state during their session.
- No analytics cookies are placed. Our analytics system (Plausible) operates entirely without cookies.
- If the Tenant has enabled Intercom support on their Customizer, Intercom functional cookies will be placed subject to the End-Customer's consent.
- Tenants are responsible for implementing their own cookie consent mechanisms on their custom domains if they add additional tracking scripts beyond what the Platform provides.
8. Do Not Track Signals
Our Platform respects Do Not Track (DNT) browser signals. Because we use a cookie-free analytics solution and do not employ cross-site tracking, our Platform inherently honors DNT preferences. No behavioral tracking is performed regardless of your DNT setting.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our practices. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform or our website. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates the most recent revision.
