Configuring Email Notifications in Konfiwear
Konfiwear sends transactional emails at key points in the quote lifecycle — submission confirmations, status updates, and production notifications. This guide covers how to configure your email settings, customize templates, and set up SMTP.
Email Settings Location
Navigate to Settings → Contact from your account sidebar. The Contact settings area contains:
Section | What It Configures |
Contact Form | The contact information shown to customers on the customizer |
Save Link Settings | How save-design links are generated and delivered |
SMTP Settings | Your outgoing email server configuration |
Email Editor | Visual template editor for email layouts |
Quote Notifications | Per-status email templates (confirmed, in production, completed) |
SMTP Configuration
To send emails from your own domain (e.g., orders@yourbrand.com), configure an SMTP provider:
Go to Settings → Contact → SMTP Settings
Enter your SMTP credentials (host, port, username, password)
Click Save and send a test email
Konfiwear supports any standard SMTP provider — Brevo, SendGrid, Amazon SES, Mailgun, or your own mail server.
💡 Tip: Using a dedicated transactional email provider like Brevo or SendGrid improves deliverability compared to a shared hosting SMTP.
Quote Notification Templates
Configure automated emails for each quote pipeline stage:
Notification | Trigger | Customizable? |
Confirmed | Quote status changes to | Yes |
In Production | Quote enters | Yes |
Completed | Quote marked | Yes |
Each template supports variables (customer name, quote number, product details, preview images) and can be edited in the visual email editor.
Navigate to Settings → Contact → Quote Notifications to configure each template.
Email Editor
The built-in email editor lets you customize the layout and content of your notification templates with a visual drag-and-drop interface. Add your brand logo, adjust colors, and write custom copy for each notification stage.
⚠️ Important: Test your email templates by sending a test email after editing. Verify that variables render correctly and that the layout looks good on both desktop and mobile email clients.
